When you’re released from police custody with several conditions of that release, you don’t want to get caught breaching those conditions.
Yet that’s what allegedly happened to a Chatham woman Monday.
Chatham-Kent police say a woman was released from custody in May with several such conditions. One was to not drink booze.
But shortly after 5 p.m. Monday, officers pulled into the Campus Parkway and Academy Driver area, answering a call about a suspicious woman. The cops found a woman and determined she was drunk.
The 46-year-old Chatham woman was arrested and charged with failing to comply. Back before a judge she goes.
