Note to late-night drive-thru users: They are for cars only.

Chatham-Kent Police had to stop by the St. Clair Street McDonald’s early this morning to remind a rather intoxicated individual this was the case.

Police say they were called about 12:40 a.m. after a man was reportedly walking around the cars in the drive-thru.

When officers arrived, police say the man picked up a rock and wouldn’t co-operate. But he eventually dropped the rock, and police took him into custody.

Police charged an 18-year-old man with drinking underage and being intoxicated in a public place. He remained behind bars until he sobered up.
