The Tilbury Kinsmen Summer Festival is set to return June 20-22. It takes place in memorial park and features entertainment, food, a classic car show, children’s events and more.
The family friendly event is free. It’s put on by the Tilbury & District Kinsmen Club.
“We are so excited to be able to carry on this event for the community of Tilbury. We know that without the support of our sponsors and the dedication of our volunteers, this event would not be possible,” said event co-chair Tom Gyles in a press release.
The festival opens June 20 at 5 p.m. and runs until midnight, reopens the next day, operating from 11 a.m. to midnight, and runs 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on June 22.
Children’s entertainment includes a midway, magic show, and puppet shows.
Meanwhile, tribute bands will rock the stage the Friday and Saturday nights of the festival. For the Friday night, Desire, a U2 cover band, and Practically Petty, a tribute to Tom Petty, take to the stage. The next night, Destroyer, a Kiss tribute band, and Crued, a Motley Crue cover group, entertain. Admission to the evening events are also free.
