Chatham-Kent police have a second man in custody in connection with an attempted murder in Wallaceburg.
Police say they arrested an 18-year-old Wallaceburg man, charging him with obstructing police and accessory after the fact.
On May 22, police arrested a 20-year-old Walpole Island man and charged him with attempted murder.
The charges are connected with a scrap that took place May 20 at about 12:30 a.m. between two men who knew each other, police say.
A 19-year-old Walpole Island man suffered life-threatening head injuries. Police say he was taken to Sydenham District Hospital and was transferred to London where he remains in critical condition.
