A tractor-trailer wound up on its roof in the ditch Wednesday evening on Highway 401 in Chatham-Kent, leading to charges against the driver.
Chatham-Kent OPP say a Volvo semi was heading westbound on the 401 when it left the road, flipped onto its roof and slid to a stop in the north ditch.
A 41-year-old Brampton man faces charges of careless driving in connection with the accident.
No one was injured.
The crash resulted in a temporary closure of the right westbound lane Thursday morning between Duart Road and Orford Road to allow the trailer’s contents to be loaded onto another truck, police say.
Later this morning, the OPP will slow all westbound traffic to allow the flipped truck to be righted and pulled from the ditch.
