Bylaw in the works for clothing donation bins

Chatham Coun. Michael Bondy entered a successful notice of motion for staff to create a bylaw for the use of clothing donation bins within C-K.

“This is to protect our local charities who rely on these,” he said. “We’d know where they are, how many there are. They tend to pop up in places.”

Bondy asked for the bylaw to include rules and regulations for new and existing bins in terms of size, location, visible contact information.
