The first Chatham-Kent incumbent has filed his nomination papers for this fall’s municipal election.
Jeff Wesley will seek re-election for Wallaceburg, Ward 5.
The councillor joins newcomers Mark Holman, Kirk Hooker and Aaron Hurst as the only people who have come forward to date with nomination papers.
The nomination period began Jan. 2 and runs until Sept. 12. The election takes place Oct. 27.
