Chatham’s Andrea Dick got to hoist a trophy almost as big as she is, after winning the eastern Canadian championships in under-nine competition recently in Montreal.
Dick, who dances at Chatham’s Cornell School of Irish Dance, defeated 40 other girls to with the title.
Earlier this year, she finished 10th at the North American championships held in July in Anaheim, Calif.
