From left, Jesse’s Walk co-organizers Carrie Formosa, Rod Wellington and Annette Nealey (Jesse’s mother) hand Chatham-Kent Children’s Safety Village Executive Director Barb Lovell a cheque for $3,300 raised from this year’s walk, which was held recently in Blenheim.
This was the third year for the walk, in honour of Jesse Nealey, who was struck and killed by a vehicle while riding his bike on Talbot Street in Blenheim in 2011.
In three years, the walk has raised $13,350 for the C-K Children’s Safety Village.
Sixty people participated in the walk this year.
Congratulations to all involved for donating their time to such a worth cause!
Congrats to all who participated! Wtg!!
