October is International Walk to School Month, and Chatham’s Addison Haines, 4, pictured here, made her first foot-powered trek to Tecumseh Public School this week.
According to her grandfather, John Lowther, they plan to walk to school at least three times a week.
“I think this is a great idea since so few kids walk these days,” he said.
