A Chatham man faces charges following a case of what police are saying is intimate partner violence.
Officers were called to a Chatham location about 8:45 p.m. Monday evening over a report of an assault.
Investigation revealed an argument between a man and a woman escalated to violence. Police say the man assaulted the woman, who suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
A 32-year-old Chatham man is charged with assault, and two counts of assault causing bodily harm – choking.
