A Muirkirk man faces charges in the wake of a weekend crash on Highway 401 that closed off an on-ramp to the highway Monday afternoon.
According to the OPP, a transport diver lost control of his vehicle and wound up blocking the eastbound on-ramp from Bloomfield Road in the middle of the afternoon.
No one was injured in the accident.
However, a Muirkirk man, 27, is charged with careless driving and failing to provide his licence to police.
