B&E in Chatham
Police are investigating a break-in overnight Monday to Tuesday at a residence on Ellis Street in Chatham.
According to the homeowner, the thief made off with about $4,000 in items.
Warrant arrests
A woman has to answer to charges after police scooped her up Tuesday morning in Wallaceburg.
Police say an officer responded about 9 a.m. to Wallace Street to check on the well-being of a woman. During the investigation, the officer confirmed that the woman was wanted on an outstanding surety relief warrant.
A 29-year-old woman was arrested.
That evening, police responded to an address on King Street in Chatham over a complaint of a suspicious person.
Police located a 28-year-old man. The officer confirmed he was wanted on an outstanding warrant for failing to attend court.
