Not all grades impacted
As was the case in Dresden, the Lambton Kent District School Board will change the bell times at two Ridgetown schools in the fall.
However in this instance, not all students will be impacted at one of the schools.
Ridgetown District Elementary will see bell times of 8 a.m. and 2:10 p.m. for start and finish of the school day, but just for grades 7 and 8.
The same bell times will be in effect for Ridgetown District High School.
The change is being made to develop the grades 7-12 integrated bus service model. All students who ride the bus to and from those schools from grades 7-12 will share the bus.
The grade 7 and 8 kids will have seating assignments at the front of the bus.
Bell times at Naahii Ridge Elementary School will remain the same.
