Definitely not on a bucket list    

A Tilbury man faces assault charges after someone clocked a man with a bucket Sunday night.

Chatham-Kent police responded to an assault complaint at a residence on Young Street in Tilbury. Through investigation, police learned that a man assaulted another man with a metal bucket by striking him on the left side of the head.

A 30-year-old Tilbury man was arrested and charged with assault with a weapon. He was released pending a future court date.

Break and Enter in Ridgetown    

Sometime since Aug. 26, someone forced their way into a barn on Shewburg Road in Ridgetown. 

Once inside, the suspect(s) stole numerous wooden planks. Total value of the theft has been estimated at $75.

C-K police seeking witnesses   

On Sunday morning, police responded to a motor vehicle collision on Baldoon Road in Chatham. 

Through investigation, police learned that the driver of a black Nissan Altima drove into another motor vehicle that was parked on the side of the street. 

The driver failed to remain at the scene of the collision, police say.
