A Chatham woman faces assault and mischief charges after someone reportedly was punching people in downtown Chatham Friday night,
At approximately 11:50 p.m,, Chatham-Kent police responded to the report of an intoxicated woman on King Street in Chatham.
Through investigation, police learned that the woman had been punching citizens at random and broke a mirror on a vehicle.
A 26-year-old Chatham woman was arrested and charged with assault and mischief. She was held in custody until sober.
