A day after CK Public Health reported no new outbreaks of COVID-19 anywhere in the municipality over the previous seven days, the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance today said they now have an outbreak.
Two cases of health-care acquired COVID-19 were identified on Medicine A Unit at the Chatham site of the CKHA.
The only other location in the municipality still in outbreak as of Wednesday, according to CK Public Health statistics, was Riverview Gardens. The long-term-care facility has been reported as in outbreak since Aug. 8, and 59 people have thus far been connected to the outbreak.
