Traffic is flowing normally again on the westbound 401 near Tilbury.
Chatham-Kent OPP say a nasty three-vehicle crash closed the lanes for about six hours last night.
The crash happened around midnight and involved two cars and a tractor-trailer just west of the Queen’s Line interchange in Tilbury.
One person was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries, police say.
The collision is under investigation and additional information will be released as it becomes available.
