Six Home Depot employees donated their time, while their employer donated the materials to erect a wood gazebo in the playground of the Children’s Treatment Centre of Chatham-Kent Wednesday.

The wood panels went up quickly with the outside frame of the gazebo complete before the morning dew had burned off in the warm sunshine.

“This gazebo will provide much needed shade for our clients and their families,” communication and fundraising co-ordnator Candice Jeffrey said. “Our accessible therapy playground was completed in May 2013 and is open to the public in addition to providing a therapy space for our clients.”
