Sir: As I was walking on McNaughton Avenue East in the vicinity of CKSS on the afternoon of May 8, a little girl, approximately nine to 11 years of age, approached me and handed me a flower, saying, “I want you to have this.”
Then she handed me a hand-printed note and said, “This is for you.” The note said, “You mean something to someone.”
I was deeply touched!
I wish I had asked her name. But I hope her parents know what a special, caring, thoughtful daughter they have.
I will definitely “pay this forward.”
