Sir: Kudos to all the people involved who made our 150th Canada Day such a great success.
A wonderful day with lots to do and see. But my big kudo goes to a couple my husband and I saw while were taking rest on St. Clair Street just north of the bridge. They were walking two dogs.
The mom stopped to say thanks to my husband as he was in Legion uniform, also a Second World War veteran. We had earlier been on the Legion float in the parade.
I must also say thanks to the lady, whoever you are, if you are reading this. You gave my husband a nice big hug. You made my day, and I’m sure, his as well. Thank you so much and bless you.
