On July 14, a woman was released from custody with several conditions.  One of those conditions stated that she was to abstain from attending Wal-Mart on St. Clair Street in Chatham.

Do you think she complied?

On August 11 and November 9, police say the woman was again released from custody with the same conditions.

Do you think she complied?

Last night around 9:45 p.m., police say the woman attended Wal-Mart and placed numerous items in her cart, including cosmetics, clothing and food. The woman made no attempt to pay for the merchandise valued at approximately $1,772.

The woman was taken into custody, and upon being searched prior to arrest, she was found to be in possession of more Wal-Mart property inside her coat.

The 22-year-old Chatham woman has been charged with theft under $5,000 and three counts of failing to comply.  She has been held in custody pending a bail hearing.

And when she’s released, with conditions, do you think she will comply?
