Hospice gets helping hand

Freedom 55 Financial has stepped up and donated $30,000 to the Hope Chest fund of the Chatham-Kent Hospice. The funds will be used to offset the cost of furniture and equipment for the structure that is now under construction. When completed at the end of this year, the 10-bed facility will be the first of its kind in the community to offer residential care for patients and their families and friend dealing with a terminal illness.
