A night of partying ended badly for three local folks, as one got beat up and two were arrested for providing the beating.
Police say about 3 a.m. Sunday, an argument broke out outside the River Rock on King Street in Chatham, and it escalated when a man and a woman pounded on a man whom they knew.
The victim required treatment at hospital, and the suspects fled the scene. Police tracked them down several hours later.
A Chatham man, 22, and a Chatham woman 19, are charged with assault causing bodily harm.
