I am the father of the world’s most beautiful, unique daughters. I am employed at Chatham-Kent Home Hardware Building Centre in the plumbing department.
I am not a politician or a business owner; I am a concerned father and resident. My vision of Chatham-Kent is a place I see our young generation come to visit. I would like to see a community where our children live, grow and then come back to when finished school to settle and establish families and contribute to the economic growth.
Unfortunately, I feel they really have nothing to come back to unless drastic changes are made. Industry has no reason to come here for reasons such as high taxes, questionable local government and an aging workforce.
I talk to many people who come to Chatham to retire, which is great, but they won’t contribute to growth.
Election platform
I would like to see:
Tax Increase as little as possible
Reduced Spending
Employment Growth and Growth to our tax base
Promote Chatham as a family place
Look for alternative ways to bring people to Chatham to support small businesses
I am not much for expressing myself in writing, if you have any questions/comments or want to get to know me call 519-359-9967.
