FreeHelpCK’s Operation Backpack is in full swing and donations continue to be accepted like this colourful item gifted by Helen Guenter, right. Accepting the backpack is FreeHelpCK marketing coordinator Amy Smith.
The campaign offers youngsters in need a new backpack stocked with school supplies thanks to donations from the community.
In 2025, the charity supplied 3,200 backpacks to local youngsters, and organizers are looking to beat the record this year.
