Editor: I’m writing about the Dresden mega dump/landfill that just had the environmental assessment requirement revoked by the Ford government.
With all the land that was purchased on the town line of Dresden, this dump will be 500 metres from our homes, schools and businesses.
It will kill the Sydenham River and over 88 endangered species.
Dresden is not the location for this mega project. I plead with the citizens of Chatham-Kent to please comment on the Environmental Registry of Ontario website (ero.ontario.ca) why this dump shouldn’t happen here.
