A Blenheim man faces mischief charges after someone repeatedly called 911 Monday evening.

Police say between 8:45 p.m. and 11:05 p.m., the same person called 911 five times, despite not having a valid emergency to report.

The individual, known to Chatham-Kent police, made four initial 911

calls regarding non-emergency concerns and was uncooperative when

contacted by officers, police say.

However, during the fourth call, police issued a caution against public mischief.

Yet he called in again. Officers responded and made an arrest on Grand Avenue West in Chatham.

A Blenheim man, 42, is charged with mischief.
