Two people have court dates after a late-night attempt to get into several vehicles on Wyandott Street on the weekend.
Chatham-Kent police say the incident took place about 1:45 a.m. Saturday morning. A resident informed them he spotted two people on his security camera footage trying to get into his parked car.
Police say the suspects then walked down the street and tried to get into several other vehicles nearby, and it was all caught on the security camera.
Officers searched the area and found their suspects.
A Chatham man, 34, and a Chatham woman, 41, are charged with trespassing at night and theft.
