A Chatham man faces charges after police say he beat up his roommate.
A 42-year-old man contacted police Wednesday afternoon to report he had been assaulted by his roommate.
The victim had fled his residence after the altercation, police say, and informed police the suspect was still inside and was potentially armed with a weapon.
The suspect was arrested during a traffic stop.
A 27-year-old Chatham man faces charges of assault and robbery.
