A Tuesday afternoon crash on the edge of Chatham sent one driver to hospital.
Chatham-Kent police say the crash took place about 2:45 p.m. at the at the intersection of Grand Avenue East/Longwoods Road and Communication Road.
The collision involved three vehicles.
A vehicle traveling east on Grand Avenue East veered into the left turning lane as it approached the intersection, police say, and collided with a vehicle waiting to turn left. The vehicle continued through the intersection to the westbound traffic lane, striking another vehicle waiting at the red light.
One driver was transported to a hospital for medical treatment. The vehicle was towed and secured for further investigation.
