Fraud charges
A man faces fraud charges following an investigation Thursday in Blenheim.
Police received a complaint about 11:30 a.m. over a possible fraud on Chatham Street North in Blenheim.
Officers investigated and believed one person had tried to make multiple fraudulent transactions.
Police say the accused was also wanted on similar fraudulent charges relating to another investigation.
Driver initially missing, then found, after collision
Police were briefly left scratching their heads over the location of a driver in the wake of what appeared to have been a crash Thursday evening in Tilbury.
The incident took place about 10:15 p.m. near the intersection of King and Whittle in Tilbury.
Police arrived and found an unoccupied vehicle that had apparently suffered some damage. Officers searched the area and used a drone to help. The search came up empty, but the driver was later found, safe and sound.
