A man is facing multiple charges after police say he tampered with his court-imposed tracking ankle bracelet and then assaulted two people.
Chatham-Kent police received notice Friday that a man may have tampered with his GPS monitor. And not long afterwards, they received a call from a Charing Cross home for a disturbance.
It was from the man’s own home, police say.
The man assaulted two others, broke a window and then fled, police say.
He was located a short distance away by police and arrested.
A 43-year-old man is charged with two counts of assault, mischief, and two counts of failing to comply with a release order.
