A new crosswalk honouring Canadian soldiers has been installed at the Chatham cenotaph just in time for Remembrance Day, with a second to be installed in Blenheim.

Chatham’s crosswalk was paid for by Mayor Darrin Canniff and Chatham’s six councillors out of their Hydro One Community Fund allocations.

On Nov. 11, services will be held at the Cenotaph beginning at 11 a.m.

The parade will form up at Royal Canadian Legion Branch 642 on William Street at 10:30 a.m., with marchers heading down King Street to the Cenotaph at 10:45 a.m.
