A Chatham man is dead following a single-vehicle crash on Highway 40 late Wednesday morning.
According to the OPP, the crash took place about 11:15 p.m. south of Countryview Line.
The driver, a 77-year-old Chatham man, was taken to hospital by ambulance, but was later pronounced dead.
As of 3:15 p.m., Hwy 40 remained closed between Countryview Line and Claymore Line while police continued their investigation.
