The investigation began Sept. 10, and officers learned someone was making threatening remarks to another person over Facebook.
Further investigation revealed the man was bound by a probation order requiring him to keep the peace and be of good behaviour.
On Tuesday afternoon, police located the man on Lacroix Street in Chatham and arrested him. He is charged with uttering threats and failing to comply with a probation order.
