It appears the enjoyment of ice cream has melted for two local men.
On Tuesday at about 1:20 a.m., a Chatham-Kent police officer spotted two men on Lowe Street in Wallaceburg with several boxes of ice cream.
Police learned a local business had been broken into, which prompted the officer to search the area for the two men.
A 64-year-old Chatham-Kent man was located a short distance away and arrested and faces charges of break and enter.
Police say they now have is partner in ice-cream crime. Almost exactly 24 hours after the frozen treat heist, police spotted their suspect on King Street in Chatham.
A 56-year-old Chatham-Kent man is also now charged with break and enter.
