Break-in causes $2K in damage

At 2:30 a.m. Friday morning, police dispatched officers to attend a restaurant on Keil Drive in Chatham in response to a break-in report.

Someone broke the front door of the restaurant, doing about $2,000 damage in the process.

Caught red handed

A Windsor man has to answer to charges after being pulled over in a stolen vehicle Thursday morning.

Police, were patrolling Mill Street in Tilbury about 10 a.m. Thursday after receiving a complaint about a suspicious man in the area.

At that time, they received an alert of a stolen vehicle, spotted it and pulled it over.

A 29-year-old Windsor man is charged with theft and possession of stolen property.
