The 2024 rendition of the Chatham-Kent Plowing Match is just days away.
It takes place Aug. 10 at TriHawk Farms at 11844 Smoke Line from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The Chatham-Kent Plowmen’s Association is also looking for young women to compete in the Queen and Princess of the Furrow competitions. The princess competition is open for those ages 11-16 as of Jan. 1 of this year, and the queen competition is for those ages 17-24 as of Jan. 1.
