The CrowdStrike global software error is impacting services at Chatham-Kent Health Alliance.

According to hospital officials, patients should expect delays in service and potential appointment cancellations following the CrowdStrike outage.

The outage is from an error in software updating, and not a cyber-attack.

TransForm, the regional IT service provider, is working on restoration efforts.

Patients can expect longer wait times in the emergency department as a result. Some other services at the hospital could be impacted as well. In regard to surgery, chemotherapy, radiation, diagnostic imaging (X-ray, CT, MRI, ultrasound, mammography), officials said patients will be contacted directly if this outage impacts your appointment or procedure.
