A Chatham man faces charges after allegedly hitting his ex-wife with his vehicle.
At the time, about 10:45 p.m., police say he was in the process of transferring items from his vehicle into his ex-girlfriend’s vehicle.
He suddenly hopped into his vehicle and drove off, clipping his ex-wife in the process, police say.
She was knocked to the ground and had to be taken to hospital for treatment for minor injuries, police say.
Officers tracked down the suspect.
A 64-year-old Chatham man was arrested and held pending a bail hearing.
He is charged with dangerous operation causing bodily harm and failing to stop at accident resulting in bodily harm.
