A Chatham man faces assault charges after Chatham-Kent police say someone assaulted a grandmother Sunday evening.
Officers learned a man and his grandmother argued, and it escalated when the man made comments to harm his grandmother and proceeded to assault her.
A 25-year-old Chatham man was arrested and held pending a bail hearing.
He is charged with assault and uttering threats.
