No one was injured in an evening fire in Wallaceburg Tuesday.
The fire took place at 333 Arnold St., site of Accurcast. Fire crews were dispatched to reports of a fire in the roof of the building.
Firefighters arrived to see heavy black smoke coming from the rooftop. As they investigated inside, they discovered flames in the roof around a chimney.
Crews began fighting the fire from inside while another team was sent up onto the roof.
Firefighters remained on scene for several hours to put out hotspots.
Damage to the roof and the roof membrane is estimated at about $50,000.
