It’s been a few weeks, but Chatham-Kent police once again raided a magic mushroom shop in downtown Chatham.
Members of the Intelligence Section executed a drug warrant at Fun Guyz on King Street West.
During the search, the police seized over 300 packages of psilocybin, worth an estimated $16,000, which is a controlled substance under the Controlled Drugs and Substance Act.
The seized drugs will undergo analysis as the investigation progresses, police say.
The possession, sale, and production of magic mushrooms, psilocybin, and psilocin are illegal, police say.
The shop has been raided twice previously by local police.
