Pier set on fire

Chatham-Kent police want to have a chat with a trio of teens seen leaving an area where someone set a pier on fire.

On Thursday evening about 8:45 p.m., police were called to Lake Street in Mitchell’s Bay for a mischief investigation, as a pier was damaged by fire.

The officers learned three teenagers were seen leaving the area shortly before the fire was discovered. Officers would like to speak with these individuals.

The first teen is a male, about 5-10, wearing a grey sweater; the second, also male was sporting a grey sweater as well; and the third, a female, appeared to be about six-feet tall, was wearing a white top and black pants.
