• Calling All Artists: 13th Annual Juried Art Exhibition at the Wallaceburg and District Museum Art and Education Room. The exhibit is open to all mediums and ages 19 and over. Entry Deadline June 15, 2024. Exhibition on display June 18th – July 31.

Hang out, have a coffee, do your homework, ask a question, read a book, or chat about life or what we’ve been working on. Get some clothes from our Out of the Closet program, use the Community cupboard &  more! No RSVP needed! Come & go as you please. All ages & allies welcome.

• Canadian Wartime Homefront at the Backus-Page House Museum. This is an event to bring awareness to what life was like on the Canadian Homefront and efforts made by Canadians to help during the war. Join us for interactive stations, educational booths and book signings. Discover wartime livelihood throughout this event, everything from Rationing, Red Cross Efforts, Farmerettes, to Entertainment, Miss War Worker Pageant, and a Wartime Wedding. There will be lots to see and tons to do! Bring the whole family out ! Adults are $15, Seniors are $10, and kids are free! 

• 1940’s Wartime Dinner and Dance. Support your local Heritage Museum, Backus-Page House Museum by purchasing a Dinner & Dance ticket. Join us for a night filled with delicious food, live entertainment, Big Band music and Lindy Hop dance instruction. We strongly encourage 1940’s attire. Tickets are $125.

• PRFM Presents – New age doom with special guest Thunder Queens. What: Punk Rock Flea Market Chatham (or PRFM Chatham) Presents Vancouver band New Aged Doom. They are embarking on an east coast tour and capping it off in Chatham on a Friday night.  Opening the evening will be London based teenaged all girl rock band Thunder Queens. • Veterans’ Memorial Day 2024. This event is to honour those Canadian Forces’ members from our community and Canada-wide who are serving or who have served our country during war and peacekeeping. Join us at 2:00 p.m at the  Arnold Cemetery Grounds located at 10282 Longwoods Road, just west of Louisville in Chatham-Kent. Program includes representatives of a local air cadet squadron, a mounted horse detail, a firing
party with authentic WWI weapons and a sincere reflection on the sacrifices made by others for our freedom. Open to all.

• Calling all Veterans. The Chatham Legion, corner of William & Colborne St.
Chatham will be hosting a Buddy Check for all Veterans from 10:00am–12:00pm. Come enjoy a coffee and talk to other Veterans. This venue is for Veterans Only.

Hear fascinating stories of spirits being stirred up by major renovation work, flying buggy whips and a firefighter who never seems to have gone off shift.
