Come and join Kent Branch of the Ontario Genealogy Society from 7:00pm-8:30pm for an online or in person presentation at McKinlay Reception Hall, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on “Forgotten – The Journals of Isaac Gardiner”. Guest speaker Mark Van Raay. This is the story of the discovery of a surviving journal from the first years of Rondeau Park which describes the interesting events taking place here between 1896-1904. • Now for something completely different at the Mary Webb Centre for the Arts in Highgate! A two night comedy fest with Steve Patterson, host of CBC’s The Debaters. Steve has 4 very funny friends joining him –  Arthur Simeon and Elvira Kurt. • Creativity Club is a new program launching at the Blenheim Branch of the CKPL from 3:30pm-4:30pm. Whether you are splattering paint, mixing up science experiments, or constructing wild creations, this club is hands-on fun. Drop-in!

• The Chatham-Kent Quilters’ Guild meets the third Thursday of each month at St. Paul’s Congregational Church, 450 Park Ave W, Chatham. The next meeting will be May 15, 2025. Doors open at 6:00 for socializing and shopping. The meeting starts at 7:00 pm. Everyone is welcome to join us, but the fee for non-members will be $10 per meeting. Come and enjoy our presentations, guest speakers and all of the other fun at our meeting. Our membership fee is $50 per year and this entitles you to our newsletter and all of our regular meetings free of charge.
