More skipped court dates
At 8:35 a.m. Wednesday, a man was located on Southend Crescent in Chatham and arrested.
On Dec. 8, when the man failed to make a scheduled court appearance in relation to an October 2023 impaired driving investigation, a bench warrant was issued for his arrest.
The 30-year-old Chatham man was released with a future court date of May 6. He is currently facing the following charges: operating a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol concentration exceeding the legal limit.
Later in the day, shortly before 6 p.m., police responded to Gregory Drive Alliance Church in Chatham to investigate suspicious activity.
Upon arrival, officers located the man behind the church and confirmed he was wanted on an outstanding warrant for failing to make a scheduled court appearance in relation to a breach of probation investigation.
The 41-year-old Chatham-Kent man was arrested and transported to police headquarters where he was held pending a bail hearing. He is currently facing the following charges: failing to comply with a probation order, failing to comply with an undertaking and failing to attend court.
And early Thursday morning, at 1:45 a.m., police located a woman on Wallace Street in Wallaceburg.
Officers confirmed the woman was wanted on an outstanding warrant for failing to attend court in relation to theft investigations.
A 28-year-old Wallaceburg woman was arrested and transported to police headquarters where she was held pending a bail hearing. She is currently facing the following charges: resisting arrest, possession of stolen property, two counts of theft, and two counts of failing to attend court.
DNA warrant arrest, and release
At 7:13 p.m., police responded to a traffic complaint and located the man on Mary Street in Wallaceburg.
A 38-year-old Chatham-Kent man was arrested and transported to police headquarters, where he was processed to provide a DNA sample and released.
