A dispute over a parking space on Wednesday has led to a Chatham man facing charges.
Also, apparently, hitting someone in the forehead with a lit joint is considered assault with a weapon.
At 5:25 p.m. Wednesday, police responded to Fort Street in Tilbury for a neighbour dispute.
Through investigation, officers learned a man confronted a woman over a parking space. The confrontation escalated when the man flicked a lit marijuana cigarette at the woman, police say, striking her on the forehead.
A 25-year-old Chatham man attended the Chatham-Kent police outlet in Tilbury and was arrested.
He is charged with assault with a weapon.
