Cops seek vehicle that hit cyclist

Chatham-Kent police are looking for the public’s assistance tracking down a vehicle they say hit a cyclist Saturday afternoon in Chatham.

The collision took place between 3 p.m. and 3:40 p.m. on Richmond Street between Lacroix Street and McDougal Avenue 

Chatham-Kent, Ontario: On March 9, 2024, at 3:40 p.m., The Chatham-Kent Police Service responded to a motor vehicle collision on Richmond Street, between Lacroix Street and McDougal Avenue, in Chatham. The collision occurred between 3:00 p.m. and 3:40 p.m.

A man riding a bicycle west on the north side of the roadway was struck by a vehicle from behind. As a result, the man was injured, and was transported to the hospital for medical attention.

The vehicle did not remain on the scene.
